There are a number of other ways schools can get involved with similar activities. These include:

Educational activities

A waste management officer can visit your school to give an assembly presentation or class activity on recycling and waste minimisation.

Composting in schools

We can provide schools with advice on composting in school and where to obtain compost bins.

Litter picks

If you would like to do a litter pick in or around your school, we can provide bags, litter pickers, tabards and gloves.

Education - In the Natural Habitat

Outdoor education activities can be held at Upton Country Park. The activities provide cross-curricular learning and fun opportunities for children of school age. As well as developing an understanding of their local environment the activities allow them to get up-close to plants and animals.
