Your Borough Of Poole

Getting help to improve your housing circumstances

We offer a free, confidential and impartial housing advice service with specially trained housing advisers for a wide range of housing issues.

We want to prevent homelessness by getting involved as soon as possible to help you remain in your home. We will work with you to help you to resolve or improve your housing circumstances.

The council has a legal obligation to homeless people and because the laws relating to homelessness can be complicated we can provide you with detailed information about this when you contact us.

We will be honest, supportive and sensitive to your situation, treat you courteously and with respect. We ask that you apply these same standards towards our advisers.

If you are homeless or think that you may be at risk of becoming homeless, you should contact the Housing Advice Surgery as soon as possible.

Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm. Friday 9am to 4.30pm.

Tel 01202 633804 or email housingadvice@poole.gov.uk

Out of office hours, if you are homeless please contact the Housing and Community Services emergency telephone 0800 506050.
