Homework Clubs

All our libraries now have Homework Clubs. Homework Clubs are open to all children, but specifically for children aged 8-14 years old.

Homework Clubs provide:

  • free use of the computers and Internet access
  • help so you can find information
  • free photocopies/print-outs for your homework
  • space to do your homework
  • sessions that are free and no need to book. Stay as long as you like

Opening times

Opening times for homework club depend on which local library you want to visit:

  • Branksome Library: Monday and Friday 3:45pm to 4:45pm
  • Broadstone Library:Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3pm to 4:30pm
  • Canford Cliffs Library: Monday 4:30pm to 5:30pm
  • Canford Heath Library: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 3pm to 4:30pm
  • Creekmoor Library: Monday 4:30pm to 5:30pm
  • Hamworthy Library: Monday to Friday 3:00 - 4:30pm and Saturdays 10.30am to 12.30pm
  • Oakdale Library: Monday 3:30pm to 4:30pm
  • Parkstone Library: Mondays 3:30pm to 4:30pm
  • Poole Central Library: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 3:30pm to 5:00pm
  • Rossmore Library : Monday, Wednesday and Friday 3pm to 4:30pm 


Each one of our libraries has a Homework Collection.
