Bestselling Author Visits Poole Central Library

With her sparkling humour and unrivalled storytelling, bestselling author, Rebecca Shaw, charms readers with her novels of life in the fictional village of Turnham Malpas and at Barleybridge Veterinary Practice. Now you can meet Rebecca in person as she talks to readers at a special event at Poole Central Library on Wednesday 9 October at 7pm.

Rebecca Shaw is a former school teacher and now lives in a beautiful Dorset village where she finds plenty of inspiration for her stories. Her novels have gained her many fans, who love the characters and can’t wait for the next instalment. Rebecca’s latest novel, Village Fortunes, is a heart-warming tale of loyalty, betrayal and family values.

Councillor Judy Butt, Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Public Engagement and Participation (with direct responsibilities for Libraries), Borough of Poole, said: "We are thrilled an author of Rebecca's calibre will be visiting us to share her experiences.
