Poole News - Winter 2014 Edition Out Now

The Winter edition of Poole News is out now and packed with news and features about what's happening in and around Poole. 

Residents can find out how the council can help them achieve their goals for 2015, our success in receiving the RSPCA Gold award for our work with stray dogs and the new 'email me' service, keeping you in touch with the latest news about what's happening in Poole.

There is information about how to avoid a financial ‘hangover’ this Christmas, the Christmas and New Year bin collections as well as an update on the building works at Trinidad House. 

The 'What's On' section offers a host of events over Christmas and New Year including the chance to meet Father Christmas and his real reindeer, a visit from the Coca-Cola truck and the traditional Bath Tub Race on New Year’s Day. Alternatively visit the festive market at Falkland Square or improve your fitness and explore your favourite spots with our free healthy walks. 

Poole News is delivered to all households in Poole and is also available at local libraries and other public buildings. Alternatively you can view the online version at poole.gov.uk/poolenews. 

An audio version for visually impaired residents, produced in partnership with the Dorset Blind Association, is also available upon request.
