Your Borough Of Poole

Explore new 'worlds' with the South West Reading Passport!

Delve into the dark, get passionate, wax lyrical and look into the future with reading this autumn. That’s the tempting offer from this year’s South West Reading Passport scheme.

Now in its third year the Reading Passport encourages readers to explore a wider range of reading for pleasure.

This year four ‘worlds’ have been selected to reflect different genres of writing. Readers are invited to take a journey through the macabre mixed with bittersweet romance via sci-fi with a twist before settling back with a poem or two.

If you would like to take part pick up your Reading Passport from any Poole library between now and 31 December and use it to record and review the books you read. Write 3 reviews or more and you will be entered into a regional prize draw to win a £150 book gift card.

Sue Wills, Library Service Manager said: "With the wide range of books available the South West Reading Passport has something for everyone. Take advantage of this fantastic opportunity and pick up your Reading passport to begin your journey around the South West whilst remaining in the comfort of your own home."
