Poole Libraries Fall Into Autumn

Poole libraries have a feast of family friendly events this October to keep you feeling warm and cheerful throughout the month.

Find out how to download an eBook from the new collection of 547 eBooks with ‘Get Online Week’ from 13 -19 October. Perfect for wet days and dark evenings!

Get crafty at Oakdale Library on Friday 17 October with the reminiscence and memory book café. Visitors can make their own memory book and staff from the Alzheimer’s Society will be on-hand to offer help and advice for those living with dementia.

Younger guests can celebrate their achievement in finishing the Summer Reading Challenge on Saturday 18 October at Hamworthy Library. Author and illustrator Mark Robertson will be attending to entertain the children with lessons in dragon drawing, book signing and crafts.

Those wishing to try something new can join in Noah Messomo’s interactive family friendly African drumming and storytelling workshop at Hamworthy Library on Monday 27 October.
