Your Borough Of Poole

Have your say on plans for Canford Heath Road site

Residents are invited to come along on Wednesday 16 September and have their say on proposed redevelopment plans for land on Canford Heath Road.

Poole Housing Partnership (PHP), on behalf of the Borough of Poole, are working on proposals for the site, formally the old Police Station, adjacent to Montacute School, to be developed into one and two bedroom housing.

Prior to submitting a formal planning application Poole Housing Partnership would like to engage the local community and find out their views on the proposals.

An information day is being held where residents will be able to view the proposed plans and provide feedback. The event will take place on Wednesday 16 September 2015 between 10am and 8pm at Stanley Pearce House Common Room, Deneve Avenue, Poole, BH17 9NQ.

Throughout the day residents are invited to drop in and meet staff who will be on hand to provide information, and to gather opinion and comment. Architectural drawings of the redevelopment will be available to view.

Local residents and interested parties are invited to come along at a time that suits them between 10am – 8pm.

Those unable to attend who would like to submit comments can do so by contacting Claire Hollard, Project Officer on 01202 264444 or via email at c.hollard@poole.gov.uk . Should you wish to view the plans after the event, they will be available on PHP's website. Feedback can be made until 30 September.

Following the event, feedback from residents will be taken into account prior to submitting a formal planning application. The planning application is scheduled to be submitted on 9 October.
