Budget Book

The annual budget is the financial representation of the Council's policies. It provides details of expenditure and income for the various services of the Council and maps the variations between the previous year and current year budgets. Both Revenue and Capital spending plans are covered within the document.

Within the Budget Book resources are allocated to Statements of Service based upon the mandatory, Service Reporting Code of Practice.

These Statements of Service form the building blocks for the Council's budget and policy framework and are grouped together into the theme's adopted by the previous Administration.

The Budget Book also encompasses the Medium Term Financial Plan and the Equalities Impact Assessment.
