Public spaces protection orders

We ran a consultation to understand the public's views on proposals to introduce and revise public space protection orders (PSPOs) in three parts of Poole. The consultation ran from 4 September 2017 to 16 October 2017.

The orders were proposed to help deal with several problems including:

  • anti-social behaviour
  • drug dealing and taking
  • rough sleeping
  • shoplifting

The three areas which the proposals could have been:

  • Poole Town and Holes Bay
  • Ashley Road and surrounding areas
  • Alexandra Park

We welcomed the public's views on all the proposals and any other options they suggested, including those from people living outside of Poole.

Have your say

Respondents were asked to read the information leaflet before responding to the consultation, which contained details of all three proposals. We then asked them to complete the relevant questionnaires below. Respondents also had the option of completing the surveys online. Please note the links to these have now been removed.

Poole Town and Holes Bay

Ashley Road and surrounding areas

Alexandra Park

The consultation closed at midnight on 16 October 2017.

Paper copies of the leaflet and questionnaires were also made available in all of Poole's Libraries.
